Information about you

When you open an AppyParking account, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, your Facebook or uploaded profile picture, your car registration number, its fuel type and demographic information such as your post code and your preference and interests.

Your Location

The physical location of your Device will be collected in order to provide you with location-specific services on our App. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you.

Financial information

We collect your credit / debit card details.

Retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected, or as long as is required pursuant to law.

For account closure, please contact the support team info@yellowlineparking.com. We will remove your personal information without undue delay except for information that we are obliged to keep pursuant to law. For instance, in order to meet statutory administrative retention obligations, we need to keep some of your account related information (e.g. copies of invoices/receipts), for six years.

Technical information

We collect technical information such as your IP address, the version, model and operating system of your device, a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on the website and the app.

Legitimate interest is associated to personal data that is necessary for the app to provide its services.

Legal obligation is associated to personal data which is mandatory required by law.

Your age confirmation is the personal data falling into legal obligation lawful basis, we collect this information to make sure you to be over 16 years old.

Consent is associated to personal data which is requested to you by consent. We collect this data in order to provide you the best user experience and best service.

What We Do With Your Data

Any or all of the data we collect is in order to provide you with the best possible service and experience. Specifically, data may be used by us for internal record keeping, improvement of our services, marketing, and transmission by email or SMS of promotional materials that may be of interest to you; or for market research purposes which may be done using email, telephone, fax or mail. Such information may be used to customise or update the Website or App. If you agree, then we may contact you:

  • with offers and information about our partners’ or associates products or service;
  • to help us improve our services;
  • We do not use advertisements.

Unless we are obliged or permitted by law to do so your data will not be disclosed to third parties. This does not include our affiliates and / or other companies within our group. We also may, from time to time, employ someone to help us (e.g with our advertising or marketing). These service providers will not have access to your personal data. How does AppyParking share your data with third parties?

We use some third-party add-ins and services to analyse the app and website user interaction patterns in order to improve the user experience. The data is anonymised and segregated and not shared with those 3rd parties in any way.

For the purpose of making payments for parking services, we use a 3rd party gateway service for payment processing. We share only the information relevant to making that payment.

We may provide links to other websites. We have no control over these other websites and are in no way responsible for their content. This policy does not extend to your use of other websites and you are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites before using them.

Our Apps do not use cookies but our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users.
